José Ferreira

José Marques Ferreira is a skilled professional with a diverse real estate, property management, and golf background. With his education in Tourism from Lisbon’s Lusófona University, he has developed a keen understanding of the hospitality industry, which he has applied over the past 15 years to his work in the golf sector.

José has also coached professional and amateur golfers, including players on the Lady’s European, Challenge, and European tours. He has worked with esteemed players such as David Frost and Max Kramer during the BMW Open 2008 in Munich and Emma Cabrera Bello at the Ladies German Open 2008 in Gut Häusern. In Portugal, he has coached several elite amateurs and multiple national champions.

José spent ten years as Director at the Paul McGinley Academy, responsible for setting up and managing the first worldwide academy for the former Ryder Cup Captain at Quinta do Lago and the first Taylormade performance centre in Southern Europe.

José’s commitment to excellence in coaching has driven him to study the sport profoundly and understand the most effective teaching methods. He prioritises biomechanics and putting as critical areas of focus and using his research to help his clients achieve optimal performance on the course.
