Meet Darcie-Blue, an inspirational 9 year old little girl who lives in Guia. After a recent day at Albufeira Recycling Centre, Darcie was surprised at the amazing things that recycling can create! This has served as inspiration to establish her own recycling initiative. Darcie is eagerly collecting plastic bottle tops, so she can exchange these for wheelchairs to provide mobility equipment to disabled children from low income families.
Darcie’s initial goal is to collect 30,000 plastic bottle tops to be able to acquire her first wheelchair, and she needs your help!
